Easy Steps to Qualify for the Battery Rebate

To take advantage of the NSW battery rebate, you must work with an accredited supplier. Think Renewable is proud to be one, ensuring you receive top-notch service and compliance with all regulations.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Existing Solar System: You must have a rooftop solar installation.

  • Battery Size: Eligible batteries must have a capacity between 2 and 28kWh.

  • New Installations: The incentive is available for new battery installations only.

  • VPP Participation: Connect your battery to a VPP to receive the incentive.

Why Join a VPP?

Imagine a network of home batteries working together to support the grid. That’s essentially what a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) is. By joining a VPP, you can help stabilise the energy grid, prevent power outages, and reduce fossil fuel reliance.
